  1. Work with the engagement team to understand the client’s requirements, design a solution that meets the client requirement, and translate the solution into technical specifications for the team.
  2. Review project deliverables and ensure they are error free and meet the design specifications.
  3. Set up an automated process of data management across existing and new client projects with a deep understanding of their business, information and reporting needs
  4. Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitions
  5. Guide, lead and mentor the data management team to deliver the goals as their reporting manager
  6. Assist in the development of standards and policies for the business intelligence framework
  7. Contribute to overall capability development of the function by taking formal and informal training sessions
  8. Act as a leader to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data platforms and solutions which enable self-service by data consumers (internal and external)
  9. Develop prototypes and run experimentation for business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques
  10. Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domain

Desired Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge and understanding of data in the digital marketing ecosystem
  2. Experience with Data Access and Data Quality Assurance (Structured Query Language, Data Quality Tools)
  3. Experience with Database Management (SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
  4. Background in Reporting, Operational Data Analytics, and Big Data Analytics will be preferred
  5. Strong leadership, mentorship and execution skills
  6. Strong project management and communication skills
  7. Strong foundational knowledge of web analytics platform suites such as those of Adobe, Google, etc. will be a plus
  8. Knowledge of SEO, paid marketing channels and user experience optimization will be a plus

Desired Experience:

  1. At least six years of experience in querying, analyzing and working with database technologies
  2. At least four years of experience in at least one scripting language (preferably Python)
  3. Strong desire and experience with data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments, NO SQL)
  4. Experience setting up data platforms and infrastructure in complex environments
  5. 4+ years of experience working on BI reporting tools
  6. 2+ years of experience delivering Data Governance and Data Quality Management concepts and practices within the financial services industry
  7. Prior experience of working in external client project delivery roles will be preferred
  8. Experience of leading and managing teams is preferred

Desired Qualification:

  • Postgraduate from tier I or tier II MBA college, preferably with Marketing or Communications specialization
