Core Focus:
iQuanti’s Head of Content will use content as a strategic tool to deliver an outstanding experience for customers and meet our clients’ business goals. He/she will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing clients’ content strategy. The content head will also manage the creation and production of online marketing content.
 

Primary skills:

  • Proven editorial skills and an outstanding command of the English language
  • Ability to tell a story using words, images, or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience
  • Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics. Experience in creating various types of content such as ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, etc.
  • Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and content types
  • Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns
  • Familiarity with principles of marketing (and the ability to adapt or ignore them as dictated by data)
  • Fluency in web analytics tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics), social media marketing applications (HootSuite, Tweetdeck, etc.) and leading social media monitoring platforms (Radian6, etc.)
  • Needs to be continually learning the latest platforms, technology tools and marketing solutions through partnerships
  • Work with designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and other industry experts

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SEO experts to leverage market data to develop content themes/topics
  • Create and execute a plan to develop the assets required to support a point of view and educate customers
  • Create content briefs and articulate business goals behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
  • Work with SEO and technical teams to implement appropriate CMS and SEO standards
  • Develop standards, workflows, systems and best practices for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Build, lead and inspire teams of creative personnel and content creators to achieve company’s stated goals
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field. MBA in marketing a plus
  • 10+ years of experience as a respected leader in multichannel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.)
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
  • Work with SEO and technical teams to implement appropriate CMS and SEO standards
  • HR-related experience including hiring, managing, performance reviews, etc. required
  • Experience in producing smart CTAs according to visitor lifecycle stage
