Who Deserves a Grammy According To the Internet?

Ahead of the Grammy Awards on Monday night, we took a look at the nominees in the top categories this year to see who ranked the highest based on Google searches between Feb. 1, 2015 and Jan. 31, 2016. Looking at the categories of “Best New Artist,” “Song of the Year,” “Album of the Year,” and “Record of the Year,” iQuanti calculated the total searches for each nominee over the period and ranked them based on their monthly average in searches. Iowa vs. America in Political Search Data

In order to gauge Iowans’ interest around the candidates in the U.S. presidential primaries and compare against national results, data-driven digital marketing company iQuanti pulled monthly Google search volumes for the candidates’ names and the most popular topic-based keywords of relevance for the months of June through December 2015, both nationally and for the state of Iowa. The data below includes rankings for the seven months and most recently for the month of December; monthly totals for top keyword search terms around each candidate; and month-over-month data measuring changes in search volumes for each candidate’s name in Google searches.
